Chapel Bridge, Water Tower, River Reuss and Needle Weir in Lucerne/Luzern
The wooden spikes ("needles") of the old Nadelwehr (Needle Weir)
are still being used to regulate the water level of Lake Lucerne.
Part of the fittings were destroyed during the 2005 floodings, but everything has been restored.
You may tell the difference between old and replaced spikes on their color, however.
